The experienced team, which has beer partner and well-known chef Reuben Riffel as mentor to experienced chefs and lovebirds Nick Oosthuizen and Julandie Groenewald, is now bringing a new food experience to the Franschhoek Valley with their restaurant, The Franschhoek Beer Co Tap & Eat.
Inspired by the same passionate pursuit of sustainable, quality ingredients and craftmanship that is the hallmark of the beers, the restaurant features a beautifully curated menu offering generous portions of fresh, tasty dishes that perfectly pairs with beer, many sourced from the farm on which the brewery is situated. A fresh seasonal / changing menu serving local produce with a traditional approach – a little modern bistro meets local terroir.
