Grande Provence Owner’s Cottage

Designed to offer every comfort and wonderful hospitality to a maximum of 10 guests, within four luxurious en suite bedrooms and one deluxe suite. The Owner’s Cottage is available on an exclusive-use or Bed and Breakfast basis and is a perfect base for those enjoying the beauty of the Western Cape Winelands. The charming Huguenot-founded village of Franschhoek is a five-minute drive away with small museums, specialty shops, postal and banking facilities.

A family or a group of friends travelling together will find exclusive use of The Owner’s Cottage offers every amenity to ensure this is a true home-away-from-home; with a spacious lounge, conservatory dining, swimming and spa pools with loggia. Mini bar and tea coffee facilities are in each room with daily housekeeping is provided.

Reservations for families travelling with children will only be accepted for accommodation on an exclusive-use basis, at either The Owner’s Cottage or La Provençale. Bed and Breakfast bookings, that include children (under the age of 11 years), are not available at The Owner’s Cottage.

Entertainment and technology are provided with television and DVD players in each bedroom, computer for guest use – with wireless internet access readily available. All guests are invited to enjoy a complimentary wine tasting, a cellar tour and a guided walk through The Gallery and The Sculpture Garden. The Estate itself is a destination in its own right, however journeys beyond its beautiful grounds will yield rich rewards and much fun and adventure.

Working closely with carefully selected local operators, we have selected some tours and day trips we feel epitomise the best of the area and all it has to offer. In the peaceful surroundings of your own room, a massage therapist can be arrange to offer Deep Tissue Massage, Remedial Massage, Soft Tissues massage to relax your tired muscles and rejuvenate your body.
