This secluded estate provides a rare opportunity to experience rural luxury, whilst exploring the impossibly charming Franschhoek village on foot.

Hiraeth – [Heer-ayth] Welsh for ‘Where your soul feels at home’ and Nefoedd – [Neh-foy-thuh] ‘To find heaven amongst earthly things’ are luxe two bedroom cottages, perfect for travellers in search of elegance, independence and privacy.

Bohemian sirens, saturated with colour, designer patterns and flamboyant furniture, each cottage includes two en-suite bedrooms, large living and dining spaces and a fully equipped kitchen. All of which open to your personal covered terrace and private garden, made complete by idyllic views of the Franschhoek Valley and Mountains.

WiFi, air conditioning and fans are installed throughout. The large sitting room, dining area and kitchen come fully equipped, including DSTV and an open fireplace. Laundry is complimentary. Guests share the estates expansive heated pool and jacuzzi.

The entire estate is solar powered, so guests can luxuriate without the impact of government loadshedding

To ensure a tranquil experience, Monument House is a child free environment.
