Set in the rugged surrounds of the Franschhoek Mountains, The Cottage @ Montpellier sits in the midst of a working olive farm, and the birthplace of Three Daughters Olive Oil.  Built into a Northern slope of the Groot Drakenstein mountain range, it commands 360 views offering true breakaway solace. The Cottage is in prime position, a 10 minute drive from the Village of Franschhoek, the home of South African gourmet cuisine and fine wines.

Sensitively decorated with an artist’s eye the space has been imbued with an equal dose of sumptuousness and warmth.  Whilst retaining an understated elegance it is the fine details that give The Cottage @ Montpellier its luxe edge.  Drawing in natural light from the sun soaked surroundings, each room has a compliment of antiques and collectable selected from the owners’ far flung travels that add to its character.  Think lanquid hours spent at the poolside in the heat of summer and snug evenings around an open wood burning fireplace in winter.

Accommodation:

The Cottage accommodates four people in two spacious bedrooms, children over the age of two years are welcome.  The main bedroom has a king size bed an en-suite bathroom with both bath and shower.  The second bedroom consists of two single beds/king with an ensuite shower. The fully functional kitchen is incorporated into living area. French doors on three sides of the open plan living area open onto a plunge pool on the North, an enclosed and protected patio on the South and breakfast area to the East.
