Coco Africa occupies one of the smallest retail spaces in Franschhoek. Situated in the courtyard of The Hoek Espresso Bar in Daniel Hugo Street, “Handmade Life”, is a husband and wife collaborative: Douglas Built www.douglasbuilt and Coco Africa Design www.cocoafrica.co.za

Our products are aimed at the discerning client. Quality is our priority and great care is taken to source timbe and to manufacture to the highest standards of craftmanship and joinery. We are innovators, designing and producing unique and beautiful timber lifestyle products. Each item is crafted from solid wood by our team of skilled workmen from the valley. Our workshop is based on a private nature reserve in the Bo Hoek area of Franschhoek. We pride ourselves on our talented, motivated, and reliable team who work to the highest standards of manufacturing, joinery and finishing. Using sustainably managed timber, we practice environmentally sensitive policies. Coco Africa has a range of products sold online at www.cocoafrica.co.za, at selected retailers and in the village of Franschhoek. We are flexible and produce relatively small runs of custom-made items.
