Mary Arendse from Bosbou Franschhoek, is a well known local baker in her community. Her talents have been proved at various functions such as weddings, 21 parties, confirmations, baptisms and her delectable’s treats are present at the annual Bastille festival. She very recently also took up catering and is a supplier for Franschhoek Wine Valley and our Stellenbosch municipalities functions and events.
Mary prepares all her food at home and also caters for take-away dinners for the local community ever so often when they want a Friday night off from cooking. Curry vetkoek, smoor snoek, quiches, preserved figs, koeksisters and fride tarts are just a few mouth-watering treats you can expect from this local kitchen.
