No need for green fingers! In this workshop you’ll learn how to grow plants from seed or by vegetative means. Ernst van Jaarsveld will share his extensive knowledge of propagating various South African indigenous trees and shrubs, cycads, creepers, herbaceous perennials, bulbous plants, succulents and aquatics. Whilst walking through the beautiful garden we will look at the cycads, clivias, trees and the indigenous section, identifying the various propagation methods used at Babylonstoren. Join in on the illustrated talk and share your take on the best propagation methods. In the afternoon we get practical, propagating easy-to-grow indigenous plants from seed and cuttings to take home.

Lunch will be served at the Greenhouse Restaurant and is included in the price.
