Summer is on our doorstep and it’s time for a bit of a splash!
WWF South Africa has once again partnered with the successful Bridge House Mile event to offer environmentally-conscious swimmers the chance to show their love of nature by swimming in support of WWF.
The day will offer swimming events for all abilities, from development swimmers having a splash, junior and beginner events, to the main Mile swim.
Swimmers can choose to Swim for Nature in any one of the event categories:
◾200m Fun Swim & Beginners | R50
◾200 m Juniors (U10 to U12) | R50
◾400 m Schools Solo Swim (U13 to U18) | R75
◾400 m Schools Team Swim (U13 to U18) | R75
◾400 m Beginners Swim (all ages) | R75
◾Mile Swim (all ages) | R200
◾WWF Swim for Nature (any distance) | R500
◾WWF Swim for Nature (any distance + t-shirt) | R700

Time: 8:00 am – 1:00 pm
Where: The Berg River Dam, Franschhoek
What you’ll get:
◾Mile Swim: Includes a SPEEDO swimming cap, coffee & a boerewors roll at the finish line
◾WWF Swim for Nature: Includes Mile benefits, a WWF branded glass water bottle & t-shirt (R700 category), plus a warm feeling in your heart for helping to save the planet!
Get friends and family to sponsor your swim and to donate an amount for a specific distance.
The individual who raises the most money wins a getaway to Cederberg Nature Reserve including 2 nights for 4 people midweek.
