Saturday 9 May 2015 Anne Marshall and Niall O’Riordan

18:30pm for 19:00, R450 per person, which includes the concert and a three course meal

South African born pianist Anne Marshall has established herself as a leading accompanist based in London.

Anne is a regular accompanist for Sir James Galway and often appears in concert with him, including the Sherborne Abbey Festival and the Slovenian Flute Festival, both in May 2014, Koerner Hall, Toronto in October 2014 and St John Smith Square London as part of the Gramophone Magazine Awards Ceremony in September 2014. Anne is the principal accompanist at the Galway Flute Conventions in Atlanta USA, Weggis Switzerland and Cape Town South Africa.

Niall is a certified Feldenkrais Method awareness through movement teacher and uses the method to help musicians reach their potential by learning about their functioning and how to act efficiently.  He has taught Feldenkrais classes at the Galway International Flute Festival since 2013.

This concert promises to be a merger of two great talents, and they will be performing works from greats such as Back, Debussy, Donizetti and Saint-Saens.
