Fynbos of the Cape Floral Kingdom at La Motte

As part of its annual participation in the Franschhoek Art in Clay Festival, La Motte will this year exhibit ceramic sets by invited ceramicists who drew inspiration from the flora and fynbos of the Franschhoek mountains. View the exhibition in La Motte’s maturation cellar and attend a talk by Cherise Viljoen, senior Horticulturist at Kirstenbosch Botanical Gardens, sharing her insights and enthusiasm for fynbos in the Cape Floral Kingdom with specific reference to the flora portrayed in the ceramic exhibition.

Optional dinner: For guests attending the talk on Volksliedjies or Fynbos of the Cape Floral Kingdom, Pierneef à La Motte Restaurant will prepare a special Cape Winelands Cuisine menu. When making a reservation, guests must please indicate whether they will be attending the dinner.
