Solms-Delta in Franschhoek will host two Saturday summer concerts on Saturday, February 28, and Saturday, March 7, with local favourites Koos Kombuis kicking off in February and Tribal Echo in March. They will perform alongside talented Music van de Caab musicians.
From 6.30pm until 8.45pm, visitors will be able to relax and enjoy Cape rural vibes and feast on traditional Kaapsekos. Either pre-book a Fyndraai picnic or order a Fyndraai braai bord, vegetable curry, roti, waterblommetjie lams potjie, or boerewors roll (ideal for the kids) at the various food stalls, while sipping a glass of Solms-Delta wine.
Pack a blanket or camp chair and spend a pleasant evening on the lawns under the oaks with friends and family.
* Tickets are R100 per person, which excludes food and drinks, no BYO. Children under 12 pay R50, and under-threes are free. Book via email on firstname.lastname@example.org or call 021-874 3937.
The Summer Concerts bring a taste of what’s in store on the farm at the annual ATKV Oesfees on March 21. (ATKV Oesfees tickets at www.plankton.mobi.)
