Join our gardener, Gundula Deutschlander, to learn more about herbal tea blends made from fresh herbs and flowers, preserving tea leaves to enjoy nature’s bounty throughout every season as well as the art of fermenting tea.
The day will start with a guided walk through the garden as Gundula shares her knowledge of ancient and modern herbalism. On our way to the garden lecture room, we will leisurely gather ingredients to concoct tantalising teas and tisanes.
After lunch our gardeners will discuss and demonstrate various preserving methods of tea leaves. Gundula will also show you how to brew your own kombucha at home, the effervescent fermented Chinese tea known for its health benefits. Take home recipes and herbs so you can make your own teas and tisanes.
Lunch will be enjoyed at the Greenhouse Restaurant and is included in the price. For our hotel guests, the events for the day are included in your stay – book at email@example.com
