Celebrate the final days of winter in style and head off to the Franschhoek Motor Museum, L’Ormarins Estate on Saturday, 4 August for Franschhoek Winter Wines. Known as one of SA’s leading wine destinations, more than 20 of the valley’s finest wineries will be showcasing their top winter wines at this exclusive event.
Participating wineries include, amongst others, Grande Provence, Haute Cabriere, Haut Espoir, Rickety Bridge, Solms-Delta, Lynx, Akkerdal, Holden Manz, My Wyn, Mont Rochelle, Moreson, Noble Hill, Anthonij Rupert Wines, Leopard’s Leap Vineyards, Bellingham, Franschhoek Cellar, La Chataigne, La Vigne, La Bri, La Motte, Chamonix, Boekenhoutskloof, Graham Beck and Vrede en Lust. Wine lovers will have the opportunity to browse at their leisure or engage with the winemakers, affording visitors their undivided attention.

Car enthusiasts will be spoilt for choice as the Franschhoek Motor Museum offers visitors a unique opportunity to look back at more than 100 years of motoring history. This includes an extraordinary and exciting collection of vehicles, motorcycles, bicycles and memorabilia in the magnificent setting of L’Ormarins.
The festival will be open from 12pm until 5pm, and tickets cost R180 per person, which includes a tasting of all the wines on show.Tickets can be purchased online directly from www.webtickets.co.za, and booking is essential as tickets are limited to 350 people only.
