Every creation from our team of talented chefs is given extra zest by the natural beauty and stunning views of this enchanting Franschhoek estate. Our restaurant has earned its place in the Cape’s cuisine capital, and our tasty fare is served from 11:00 am to 15:30 pm with estate wines. The restaurant can be booked for special functions and is ideal for any celebration with family and friends.
The summer menu comprises a gourmet picnic basket, crammed with a selection of Cape inspired foods prepared daily by our chefs; boboti spring rolls, smoked salmon trout baguettes, mini chicken pies, smoked snoek pate, vegetarian quiches, fresh salads, local cheeses, fresh fruit and olives, followed by a traditional desert of koesisters. Winter menu (from June to September) leans towards hearty soups, stews and curries. In winter, the fare is hot and hearty – home-cooked soups, traditional curries and steaks. A carefully selected menu has been created to delight the children.
The Restaurant in the Vines can be booked for special functions and the separate dining room in the cellar is available for private groups.
