Prepared by Executive Chef Darren Badenhorst, the Grande Provence summer picnic basket is filled to the brim with delightful baguettes, artisanal brie, locally cured saucisson, Franschhoek trout, homemade preserves and butter, artisanal rosemary and sea salted crisps with whole grain mustard aioli, a crisp garden salad, and a decadent chocolate brownie. These are all perfectly rounded off with a bottle of Angels Tears wine and your choice of still or sparkling water.
If you want to take your picnic experience up a notch, choose from a selection of rabbit-liver parfait, seasonal fruit, a chunky Waldorf salad, boerenkaas and beautiful rose and white macaroons. These extra luxuries are priced individually and can be added to your basket upon request.
