Babylonstoren’s Scented Room, an aromatic apothecary, offers guests a unique variety. Here you will find yourself surrounded by the most mesmerising fragrances – a quiet oasis where scents and images of the garden have been captured in soaps, oils and creams.

Come and blend your own bath salts, body scrubs and face masks. The soap factory follows the traditions of specialist artisans in France.

At the distillery, they create their own essential oils. Every day at around 10h00 guests are invited to see (and smell) the distilling process.

From the viewing platform, guests can also see Babylonstoren’s water and bitterlekker bottling plants in operation, as well as the juicery where delicious fruit and vegetable juices are created. In the cellar, we make balsamic vinegar the traditional way, aged in wooden vats of successively smaller size.
