Basic propagation to grow your own collection Workshop at Babylonstoren

All level of gardeners are welcome to join Ernst, our resident botanist, and our garden team in an exploration of plant propagation. First we’ll take a stroll through the gardens, identifying the propagation methods used to multiply various plants at Babylonstoren: from cycads, clivias, indigenous shrubs and trees to bulbs, succulents and aquatics. Ernst will also share his extensive knowledge through an illustrated talk in the garden lecture room. To end the day, you’ll propagate your own easy-to-grow, indigenous plants from seed and cuttings to take home.
