This relaxed and popular self-catering cottage sleeps up to four adults in two double bedrooms, with two children in a Tin Tin – inspired bunk room, making Cook’s Cottage ideal for families or a small group of friends.

The cottage has a covered veranda with outdoor eating and barbecue (braai) area leading out to a shady side garden, as well as a private, courtyard garden to the front, with 3m x 3m plunge pool and lovely views back onto the mountains. Inside, Cook’s Cottage’s well-equipped kitchen, dining room, wood-fire warmed sitting room and upstairs pajama lounge offer warmth, relaxation and a real ‘welcome home’ feeling.

Located on a quiet residential street in the heart of Franschhoek village, Cook’s Cottage is only a few minutes’ walk from the village’s renowned collection of fine dining restaurants, art galleries, local shops and meeting point for Franschhoek’s famous Wine Tram: hop on, hop off wine tour.
