La Galiniere Guest Cottages

La Galiniere Guest Cottages are ideally situated in the charming Franschhoek valley, just 15 minutes’ walk from the centre of the village. Located on a boutique vineyard, the two ‘AA Highly Recommended’, 3-star cottages provide comfortable and cosy self-catering accommodation at affordable prices.

Rates from R850 per person per night. Children aged 6 – 12, half price. Children 5 and under, free of charge. Discounts available for stays of 6 nights or more all year round, and stays of 3 nights between April and September.

Pinotage Cottage comprises two bedrooms (king or twin beds), shower room, and open plan living/dining room (with dining table and chairs and fireplace) and well-equipped kitchenette.

Merlot Cottage comprises two bedrooms (king or twin beds), bathroom, living room (with fireplace, dining table and chairs) and kitchen.

Each cottage has, as standard, a well-equipped kitchen(ette) (oven/hob, fridge freezer, microwave etc.), TV with basic DSTV channels, DVD player, guest toiletries, quality cotton linen and towels, complimentary tea/coffee/milk/sugar, fan heaters and cooling fans, hair dryers, blankets and a complimentary bottle of Cabernet Sauvignon made from grapes harvested on the farm.

Families are very welcome and high chairs and travel cots, are available. Babysitting can be arranged with advance notice and with an additional charge.

The cottages share their own outdoor swimming pool, braai and seating area. Secure off-street parking is provided. Early check-ins and late check-outs are usually possible during the off-peak season.

Please note that La Galiniere is a working farm and has four dogs that roam the farm freely.
