La Motte Ateljee

Enjoy the exhibitions, meet the makers, see their creative processes, and join in the making. The first season is themed “sharing that which brings great joy” and focuses on painting, ceramic and textile art and products, accompanied by a programme of workshops and events.

Paint your own artwork

Join us in the La Motte Ateljee to paint (and share!) something that brings you joy.

Brush up on your creativity and create a painting at your leisure over a glass of wine in the new Ateljee Workspace.

You can take your completed artwork home or place it back onto the wall to create a collective painting (we will return it to you by courier after the exhibition).

Cost: R450 including a glass of wine or a non-alcoholic drink from the menu.

Available until 9 March, from Wednesdays to Sundays. Book a day on which you would like to join us. The first session starts at 10:00 and you can join us any time until 15:00.

Please note that for children to participate, they should be older than 6 years and accompanied by an adult.
