Hop-on Hop-off Experience

This combination of tram and bus transports passengers around a loop of stops allowing you to hop off and experience activities like wine tastings, cellar tours, lunch or simply a stroll through the vineyards. Franschhoek Wine Tram offers five Hop-on Hop-off lines, giving passengers a variety of wines, views, and experiences to enjoy. Each line is colour coded to make it easy to choose and follow. The tour takes passengers right into the heart of the Franschhoek Valley, with a narration focusing on the history of Franschhoek and wine cultivation in the valley and unparalleled views of the valley and vineyards.

Curated Wine Experience

Designed for the true wine-lovers and foodies, the Curated Wine Experience is a real treat for the senses! A knowledgeable wine wine ambassador accompanies you to a selection of wine estates for premium tastings and pairings, a cellar & vineyard tour, and a specially curated three-course lunch. Discover your love for food and wine in a new light.

Exceptional Wine & Cuisine Experience

The Exceptional Wine & Cuisine Experience, orchestrated by one of our finest wine ambassador, offers guests a journey filled with fascinating stories about Franschhoek’s history, wine, and culture. Sit back and relax as we spoil you with one-of-a-kind food and wine pairings, including breakfast, lunch, dessert, and a unique Sabrage experience.

Group Experience

A dedicated tour for groups of 16 or more guests. Visit up to three renowned wine estates in Franschhoek over the course of the day by double-decker tram and open-air tram-bus. The perfect way to celebrate, connect or reunite with friends, family or colleagues

The blue line visit the following wine estates: La Bri, Holden Manz, Maison, Paserene, Klein Goederust, Grande Provence, Rickety Bridge, and Franschhoek Cellar.

The red line visit the following wine estates: Mont Rochelle, Haute Cabriere, Lynx, Eikehof, Grande Provence, Rickety Bridge, and Franschhoek Cellar.

The pink line visit the following wine estates: Grande Provence, Rickety Bridge, Franschhoek Cellar, Leopard’s Leap, Atlas Swift, Pigcasso, Chamonix, and Dieu Donn?.

The orange line visit the following wine estates: Plaisir, Vrede en Lust, Babylonstoren, Bacco and Boschendal.

The Navy line visit the following wine estates: Allee Bleue, Camberley, Bartinney, Le Pommier, Zorgvliet, Plaisir, Vrede en Lust and Boschendal.

Transfers:

Franschhoek Wine Tram offers exclusive transfers from Cape Town and its surroundings at affordable rates. You will be collected at your specified address and returned after your tour (later return trips can also be arranged). Transfers can be added to any of our experiences during the booking process at an additional cost.

Tickets can be purchased online or at the Franschhoek Wine Tram Terminal (pre-booking is advised).
