The property operates both as a working farm and an exclusive Franschhoek Valley destination for weddings, events, luxury accommodations, private wine tastings, and premium picnic experiences. With panoramic views of beautifully manicured gardens and vineyards, framed by majestic mountains, our estate boasts the best of what the event industry has to offer.

The Sanctuary

Built on an island in the middle of a lake, The Sanctuary offers a unique experience.

This monumental building with high-arched glass entryways allows you and your guests to be sheltered, whilst being bathed in light and surrounded by breathtaking views. The water on all sides creates spectacular reflections on calm days. The Sanctuary is a romantic wedding venue in a class by itself.

The Festival Hall

Our grand venue, The Festival Hall, is a meticulously built, spacious hall mirroring the Italian finishes and Roman architectural designs of The Sanctuary.

A grand, antique wooden door on the southern wing leads into the opulent atmosphere of our Bacchus Lounge and Bar. The Bacchus Lounge and Bar is a comfortable space to relax and enjoy a few drinks whilst appreciating the views of the vineyard.

From here, your guests can walk through to the Feast Hall. The Feast Hall boasts an open fireplace, heated terracotta floor, high ceilings, wooden beams, and Italian roof tiles, all of which combine to create a warm, celebratory environment that you and your organizers can easily tailor to the tastes of your bespoke wedding. The Feast Hall accommodates 180 people seated and measures 506m2. This venue is equipped with a large industrial kitchen, making it the perfect space for a reception dinner.
